---On 28th November, 2011, "Training
Workshop on Efficiency Improvement and Capacity Increase
for National Rural Hydropower" , cosponsored by SHP
Special Committee of China Society for Hydropower Engineering
and Hydropower Special Committee of Chinese Hydraulic
Engineering Society and undertaken by HRC, was opened
in Hangzhou. Mr. Liu Zhongming, Deputy Director of Rural
Hydropower & Electrification Bureau, Ministry of Water
Resources, attended the opening ceremony and delivered
important speech.
Nearly 200 representatives from Water
Conservancy (Water Resources) Departments (Bureau) of
related provinces, autonomous regions and municipality,
and the Xinjiang Construction Corps attended the training
workshop. The 3-day training workshop aims at strengthening
the construction management of efficiency improvement
and capacity increasing program for rural hydropower,
ensuring the quality, progress, security and implementation
effect of the program construction. The training workshop
mainly includes: program funds and construction management,
contents and major technique of efficiency improvement
and capacity increase, main points on relevant technology
standards, and experience and case study of efficiency
improvement and capacity increase for rural hydropower.(2011-12-08)
