HRC's Regular Meeting for Scientific Research and Production of the First Half of 2011 Held

   ---On the morning of July 20th, HRC held the regular meeting for scientific research and production of the first half of 2011, which was presided over by HRC Director, Ms. Cheng Xialei.

   At the meeting, Division Chief of International Cooperation, Science & Technology gave a summary of the scientific research and production of HRC in the first half of the year. The other Division Chiefs of HRC summarized the work of their divisions respectively in the first half of the year, and made working plan for the second half of the year as well.

   After listening to the working reports attentively, on behalf of HRC, Director Ms. Cheng Xialei congratulated on the achievements of all the divisions and expressed the gratitude for their great efforts. Ms. Cheng also gave four comments on the work: firstly, the work of the first half of the year was carried out smoothly according to the plan, all the divisions got an energetic working schedule, the domestic and foreign markets were developed simultaneously; secondly, the collaboration among divisions was strengthened, especially the close cooperation among the three companies, including information sharing, mutual promotion, joint market exploitation; thirdly, all the divisions had further understanding on standardized management, putting forward issues of strengthening internal management and improving rules and regulations; fourthly, all the divisions had a clear goal and concrete plan for the work of the second half of the year, and also had the confidence of fulfilling the annual production plan.

   While assigning the main tasks of HRC for the second half of the year, Director Ms. Cheng pointed out four requirements: firstly, all the divisions should seize the opportunity to accelerate the reform and development of water conservancy, get well-prepared to maintain the growth and promote the development; secondly, all the divisions should enhance project management and regular check in order to ensure project quality and implementation progress, including payment progress of financial program; thirdly, pay great attention to safety production. We should take concern for the staff members at the working site, and sunstroke prevention should be implemented in high temperature seasons. Safety Advice should be given to the staff members before they are going abroad; fourthly, we should adhere to the legal operation. Division chiefs should take the lead in learning the relevant laws and regulations, financial and management knowledge to standardize business behaviors.

   Deputy Directors of NRIRE, Mr. Xu Jincai and Mr. Huang Jianping, Deputy Secretary of NRIRE's CPC Committee, Mr. Xie Yimin added suggestions and comments on the work under their leadership respectively, and put forward related requirements as well.

   Assistant Chief Engineer of NRIRE and all the Division Chiefs attended the meeting. (2011-07-26)
