---The Disuse and Reconstruction Project
of Changzhao Hydropower Station in Xinchang City, Zhejiang
Province, which was designed by HRC, began power generation
on April 30th, 2011.
With an installed capacity of 6000kW
(3กม2000kW) originally, Changzhao Hydropower Station was
disused in Oct. 2010 and then began to be reconstructed
because the service period of its equipment had expired,
which could pose serious safety risks. After reconstruction,
the installed capacity is increased to 6750kW with HLA643-LJ-100
Francis turbine and SF-J2250-12/2150 generator. The governor
and excitation devices are micro-computer based; the inlet
valve adopts self-supporting hydraulic loaded butterfly
valve; the secondary electric equipment adopts computerized
monitoring and controlling system. Currently, it has achieved
the mode of "no one on duty, few people on guard".
