---From 15th March to 18th March 2011,
three guests from Vietnam leaded by Mr. Nguyen Vu Viet,
vice director of Vietnam Academy for Water resources and
director of Institute for Hydropower and Renewable Energy
(IHR), paid a visit to our center for undertaking the
cooperative project called "Emergency-supporting
Technology for Rural Hydropower against Disasters Caused
by Climate Change". This project has been adopted
by the 8th Session of China-Vietnam Joint Committee on
Science and Technology Cooperation and listed into the
China-Vietnam long-term exchange project.
Ms. Cheng XiaLei, director general of
HRC, Mr. Xu Jincai, vice director of HRC, Mr. Dong Dafu
and Mr. Lin Ning, heads of Hangzhou Yatai Hydro Equipment
Completing Co., Ltd, a sub company of HRC, attended the
meeting on 16th March. Both sides agreed on some further
cooperative projects and formed and signed Memorandum
of Understanding (MOU) and Letter of Cooperation.
Accompanied by Vice Director Xu and
Mr. Lin Ning, Vietnamese guests also visited Nanjing Hydraulic
Research Institute during their stay in China.(2011-03-21)
