---On 5 Jan 2011, Mr. Tian Zhongxing,
Director-General, Bureau of Rural Hydropower and Electrification
Development, MWR, Mr Liu Zhiguang, Deputy Director-General
of International Cooperation, Science and Technology Department,
MWR, Mr Liu Heng, Director of HIC, Mr Hao Zhao, deputy
division chief of International Cooperation, Science and
Technology Department, MWR, Mr Fu Zilong, deputy division
chief of Bureau of Rural Hydropower and Electrification
Development, MWR, inspected HRC, visiting HRC's SHP Checking
Center, New Energy Complementary Lab, seeing some of HRC's
working staff and listening to HRC's working report.
During the reporting, Ms Cheng, HRC's
director, appreciated the inspection of the delegation
for guidance headed by Director-General Mr Tian to HRC
on the 2nd working day of the New Year. Director Cheng
summarized HRC's work of the previous year into 5 aspects
i.e. science, technology and work for public benefit,
international cooperation and exchange, magnitude of industry
and economic growth, internal management and logistic
service, CPC build-up and spiritual civilization, as well
as HRC's working plan for 2011.
Director-General Mr Tian gave high
appreciation to HRC's previous achievement and he pointed
out that HRC scored greatly for the industry in policy
research, compilation of standards, training of personnel
and etc. contributing a lot in improving China's image
and promoting SHP development in the world, particularly
in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr Tian expressed that the
Bureau would continuously support HRC in promoting overall
development, R+D creation, economic growth and establishment
of "SHP Engineering Center of MWR", wishing
HRC advance further under the leadership of Nanjing Hydraulic
Research Institute and make new contribution to the rural
electrification mission in China.
Mr Liu Zhiguang, Deputy Director-General
of International Cooperation, Science and Technology Department,
MWR, affirmed HRC's achievements in international cooperation,
exchange, training, aid to foreign countries and etc,
congratulating on the big changes of HRC in the recent
years. He expected that HRC exploit the advantage to the
full and contributing more in SHP going global, international
cooperation and etc.
Director Liu, Mr Hao Zhao and Mr Fu
Zilong also delivered speeches, assuring powerful support
to HRC's future work.
HRC's other leaders Dr Xu Jincai,
Mr Huang Jianping and Mr Xie Yiming, division chiefs and
HRC staff representatives were also present at the reporting
