---On August 16, 2010, Rural Hydropower
Safety Supervision Training Course (Class in Hebei province)
of Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) which was undertaken
by HRC concluded successfully in the picturesque Beidaihe.
Over 50 basic-level leaders and security management chiefs
from the related cities and districts (counties) of Hebei
Province attended the training. The five-day training
course was implemented in strict accordance with the requirements
of Ministry of Water Resources in terms of the training
objectives and training arrangement. During the training
course, a series of activities were conducted, such as
the opening ceremony, teaching lectures, participant's
exchanges, training evaluation, close-book exams, and
registration of safety supervision staff and so on.
According to the on-the-spot feedback
suggestions, the parties concerned in Hebei Province had
actively and promptly followed the requirements of Ministry
of Water Resources to emphasize the pre-post training
of the security staff, ensuring the smooth fulfillment
of the training course. HRC not only gave a full presentation
of the knowledge for the rural hydropower security in
accordance with the training materials, but also added
the content of the compilation of safety emergency plan,
which was much welcomed by the participants. This is an
embodiment of HRC's success for its long-term contacts
and cooperation with local organizations and its great
efforts to conduct domestic training for consecutive years.
It is also an important manifestation of HRC's contribution
to the sector service for rural hydropower development.(2010-08-25)
