---In the afternoon of April 30th,
the labor union of HRC organized an activity themed "Walking
Match along the Grand Canal" with the purpose of
celebrating the May Labor Day, enriching staff's life
and sports activities and enjoying the beautiful scenery
at spring. Along the path on the east side of the Grand
Canal, all the participants walked for about 5.5 kilometers
from West Lake Cultural Square to Gong Chen Bridge Canal
Square.
Members of HRC as well as the 16 foreign
participants of International Small Hydropower Training
Workshop joyously took part in this activity. While competing
with one another for a quicker pace, the participants
also took the chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery. After
arriving at the destination, the participants visited
some museums nearby including the Grand Canal Museum.
Through the activity, everyone had
done good exercises, relaxed the minds and the smiles
on their faces were just like the gentle breeze of spring.
Meanwhile, the activity had served as a perfect opportunity
for HRC members and foreign friends to communicate and
