---From November 29 to December 2,
2009, a 3-person delegation headed by Mr. Prapath Premmani
from TGC Group of Companies, Co., Ltd in Thailand (briefed
as TGC) paid a visit to HRC for the cooperation in the
field of small hydropower (SHP) and other renewable energies.
Based on the report by HRC on the progress
of technological development in China related to SHP and
the competitiveness of equipment supplies, as well as
the report by TGC on the progress in SHP development in
Thailand, and the barriers and opportunity for SHP development
in neighbouring countries, the two parties held friendly
and in-depth discussions, and reached the consensus about
the following topics:
(1) TGC would like to have kind collaboration
with HRC whenever and wherever it is possible in the potential
projects for SHP or other renewable energies in Thailand
and its neighbouring countries.
(2) HRC would like to participate in
the SHP development in Thailand and its neighbouring countries
such as Laos, Myanmar, etc. by offering technical services
including feasibility study, designing, consultation,
supervision, professional training as well as equipment
supply.
(3) In addition to the cooperation on
small, micro or mini hydropower projects to be further
discussed case by case, the collaboration between the
two parties on other new and renewable energies such as
solar and wind power is also highly expected;
(4) In order to further strengthen the
mutual understanding, enhance the bilateral exchange and
explore the overseas market, HRC would like to pay a visit
to the headquarters of TGC in Thailand and its offices
in neighbouring countries in due course in the near future.
