---From Feb. 12th to 13th, 2009, symposium
on refurbishment and safety of rural hydropower organized
by the Rural Hydropower & Electrification Development
Bureau of MWR was held in Nanjing. The meeting was presided
over Mr. Liu Zhongmin, deputy director of RHEDB and Mr.
Chen Shengshui, deputy director of NHRI, addressed at
the meeting.
36 representatives from Water Resources
Department of 15 provinces, including Hebei, Jilin, Zhejiang,
Fujian, Jiangxi, Hubei etc., National Research Representatives
from National Research Institute for Rural Electrification
(HRC), Hohai University and International Center on Small
Hydro Power attended the meeting. (2009-02-26)
