---The draft of Regulation on Installation
and Operation of Leakage Protector in Rural Area complied
by HRC was submitted on July 1st to the Department of
International Cooperation, Science and Technology and
the Bureau of Rural Hydropower & Electrification Development
of MWR for soliciting opinions. Besides, it was also sent
to over 70 national R&D institutions, local power
sectors and manufacturers, etc. and posted on the website
for collecting public comments.
HRC, one of the main compilers of technical
standards in hydropower sector, has completed 14 regulations
at state or ministerial level. In recent years,, HRC has
been taking an active part in the research work on technical
standard system, which is presided over by the Bureau
of Rural Hydropower & Electrification Development
of MWR and now it is in charge of compilation and revision
of 7 technical standards in hydropower sector.(2008-08-04)
