---As
one of the long-term scientific and technical cooperative
projects between the Chinese and the Vietnamese governments,
the cooperation called "Joint Research and Development
on Small-sized Hydropower Units and Automation Control System"
is going well with the joint effort of HRC and Hydro Power
Center, Vietnam (HPC). In accordance to the first-phase
contract signed on Jan. 3, 2003 for offering a set of hydropower
automation control system (high voltage) to HPC, recently,
a delegation from HRC paid a visit to Vietnam and fulfilled
successfully the on-site testing for equipment as well as
the technical training for HPC. Further to the achievements
scored, close discussions were also made on next steps.
With an upsurge in SHP development in Vietnam, a more prosperous
prospect will be ahead of HRC and HPC for their cooperation
on SHP equipment and automation control system. (2004-09-01)
