spring energy-storage operator works as follows: the
mechanical energy is stored when the wicket gate opens,
and the wicket gate can be safely closed by releasing
the mechanical energy from the spring, in case there
is no plant-service power. For emergency stop, it can
quickly and safely close the wicket gate by two steps,
firstly to close quickly the wicket gate by about 90%,
and then slowly close down. It's a very reliable operator
with low-cost, no oil pump needed, salient energy conservation,
simple structure, and low cost of maintenance. TC spring
energy-storage turbine operator is suitable for small
hydropower stations integrated into the power grid and
there is no need for frequency regulation. |
