Introduction to TURIJA Hydropower Plant
TURIJA Power plant project is situated in strumica area of Macedonia. The installed capacity of TURIJA HEPP is 1×160kW with design water head of 46m and design water flow of 0.31m3/s. It is a vertical Francis containerized turbine. The completing electro-mechanical equipment supply contract was signed in August 2011 by Hangzhou Yatai Hydro Equipment Completing Co., Ltd, subsidiary of Hangzhou Regional Center for Small Hydropower(HRC), providing turbine, generator, excitation system, HCU, butterfly valve, SCADA system, automation components, oil, air and water system etc.

Compared with the conventional power station, the powerhouse is replaced with a standard container in containerized power station, requires less space and less investment in civil works, and can be under completely unattended operation. TURIJA station is the first containerized hydropower project of Hangzhou Yatai aboard. On the basis of conventional containerized hydropower plant, TURIJA hydropower plant takes urban drinking water supply for power generation according to local conditions and can be controlled remotely by mobile phone. On-site installation started on December 2012 and lasted 3 months. The preliminary acceptance of the project was completed on July 23rd 2013 and the hydropower plant was put into operation on July 4th, 2013. High quality and efficient team work ability has impressed the owner. The success of TURIJA Hydropower Plant Project has laid a solid marking foundation for Hangzhou Yatai to promote containerized hydropower plants overseas.
